Check the official photo requirements
Before starting, look up the exact photograph requirements for the country or application you are submitting. Photo dimensions alone are not enough: some forms specify background, face position, recentness, print type or digital quality.
Make a printable A4 sheet
Choose a well-lit portrait with a suitable background and select one of the sizes in Paperlane. The tool crops the center of the source picture into repeated photo-sized rectangles on A4 paper. It does not remove backgrounds or verify a compliant facial crop.
Print and measure a sample
Download the PDF and print at actual size (100%), not Fit to page. Measure a test photo with a ruler. Confirm face positioning and all application rules before submitting.
